In 1981, after seven years as an Army helicopter pilot Lloyd hung up the flight suit and climbed onto his sail boat in Pearl Harbor and headed out on a 36 day single handed crossing to San Diego. Eventually, making his way to Austin, he went into the building business where he met a real estate agent named Peggy. They immediately became lifelong personal and business partners (you might even say love at first sight) and, over the last quarter century have been together 24/7. We retired in 1999 and now stay every bit as busy as we did when we were in business. Now, in our late fifties, we consider it our job to stay physically fit, and we work at that every day by walking and running. We also enjoy dancing and have fun going out at least a couple of days each week. Our major educational focus now is our music with our focus being on blues. Peggy plays keyboard and Lloyd plays electric guitar and bass.
